Top pieces
There are several masterpieces in the collection of the Mariniersmuseum. Think, for example, of an original marine hat, a Harley Davidson with a special story and an amphibious vehicle.
From Mali
UNIFORM AND EQUIPMENT SET
A nice addition to the collection is a uniform and equipment set worn in Mali by a Special Forces Operator of C-Squadron, Marine 1 Thomas. Acquiring modern equipment has more explicit attention in the Marines Museum these days.

HARLEY DAVIDSON
At the end of 2019, a Harley Davidson FLH-1200 motorcycle, with markings from the Marine Patrol in the Netherlands Antilles, was added to our collection.
This motorcycle comes from the Naval Base Parera on Curaçao and originally had the number plate KM 20-50. In 1979, three of these engines were introduced to replace BMW R60 motorcycles.

BANDVAGN 206
The BV-206 is an amphibious vehicle that can operate both on land and in water. The vehicle is used, among other things, for the transport of injured persons and goods transport.
The BV has been deployed during operations in Cambodia, Bosnia, Haiti, Eritrea and Iraq, among others, and the vehicle appears to perform well under various climate and terrain conditions.
